Drawing on internal landscapes, Ruin contemplates and explores the universal, yet sometimes isolating, human experience of grief. What does the landscape of grief look like? These paintings are an exploration of raw, expansive, turbulent, clouded scenes as a metaphor for the confusion, denial, depression and acceptance associated with loss.
